Hard Rock Casino Tulsa Reopening

Cherokee Nation Businesses announced their phase reopening plan early June.

Principal Chief Chuck Hoskin Jr. and Cherokee Nation Businesses CEO Chuck Garrett made the announcement on the Cherokee Nation Facebook Page.

June 1 began the company's phased reopening with Cherokee Casinos in Tahlequah, Fort Gibson and Sallisaw all opened.

Beginning June 10, Principal Chief Hoskin Jr. said they plan to reopen Cherokee Casinos Will Rogers Downs, Grove and Roland.

By the end of next week, the company says all other properties, including Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Tulsa and Cherokee Casino West Siloam Springs, will reopen.

The remaining properties, including Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa, Cherokee Casino West Siloam Springs, Cherokee Casino South Coffeyville and Cherokee Casino Ramona, are expected to open by the end of next week. All properties will operate at a reduced capacity with enhanced health and safety protocols in place. A reduced guest capacity, and health and safety protocols, will be in place at all properties. Team member screenings, temperature checks and masks are required to keep everyone safe.

Prinicipal Chief Hoskin Jr. reminds the community that all reopening dates depend on the success of their hospitality plan.

Some amenities including buffet style services, some table games and some valet services are not resuming right now.

All casinos will close nightly for deep cleaning and sanitization.

Cherokee Nation Businesses will continue to monitor guidance from federal, tribal and local authorities in order to keep their staff and guests safe from the coronavirus.
